Mexico is now ranked by the United Nations as the worlds largest supplier of child sex slaves. Often times children are out doing errands for their parents and get snatched up by sex traffickers. These children are often drugged and brutally raped, making life simply unbearable for them. The majority of the Mexican children are sold to international pedophile organizations. Those over twelve are almost always used as prostitutes.
Though the worst part of this all is that no one is trying to stop these terrible crimes. The Mexican government has done nothing to curb this illegal trade that ruins the lives of thousands of children. When the government does not look after its people, then it is our responsibility as privileged citizens to spread awareness and help stop sexual slavery around the world.
