Capuzo #2 ;D

There are a lot of different things that make us humans. For example, humans have to follow the laws that government give to us, unlike animals who can do whatever they want when they want. Humans have emotions. We can be happy, sad, lonely, guilty, etc. Humans make mistakes, and we learn from those mistakes. All humans get to choose how to live there life, choose there professions, and do what they want with there lives.
In the book Sold, by Patricia McCormick, Lakshmi is the main character. She is a young girl who is sold into Slavery/ Prostitution in India. She is treated horribly in India, and is treated like a slave in a place called "Happiness House". Slavery is defiantly not human. I think that every human should be respected and people don't deserve to be bossed around by other people and young girls shouldn't be forced to be prostitutes at such a young age as 13 or any age actually. All of Lakshmi's human rights have been taken away and she doesn't have the freedom to state her beliefs.
