According to the "Factbook on Global Sexual Exploitation," the main countries in south Asia who are trafficking children are Nepal and Bangladesh. The busiest "slave traffic" any where in the world occurs in Nepal. Here, girls are trafficked from Nepal to India for prostitution. Each year over 9,000 girls are trafficked from Nepal and Bangladesh to India and Pakistan.
